MacSpeech Dictate-Speech Recognition Software

Wow, I just recently purchased MacSpeech Dictate and I can’t believe that I never got this piece of software before. This advanced speech recognition tool has completely made my life a lot easier than if I were to type this out now.

Now I don’t have the best typing skills, nor did I ever the skills, but with this software I am able to spend less time typing, proofreading, correcting errors and then typing some more. I am one of those index finger typewriting machines supposedly, but now I am sitting back and actually relaxing and talking into this microphone as I supposedly write this article. MacSpeech Dictate is the most advanced, easiest to use speech recognition solution available for the Mac.

The installation and setup of this application took less than 10 minutes between popping the disc in and doing voice-recognition training. Even in this little time of me using this application is very easy for MacSpeech Dictate to understand exactly what I’m saying.

MacSpeech Dictate is also versatile and works with many different applications here you have, including Apples iwork and ilife, e-mail apps, spreadsheets, Skype, text edit, page layouts and so much more.

Once MacSpeech Dictate adjusts to your voice it is amazingly accurate and will let you easily spell words and acronyms, edit and navigate text documents, including those created with other applications and so much more.

I would highly recommend this application for anyone who has trouble typing. Just from speaking this first article alone I feel that this is very paid for itself and I will get many years of enjoyment and productivity from this application. It is most definitely worth the investment.
