How many times have you heard that you need to set goals and how important they are to your success in… Well anything. You can set goals for yourself, but be aware that they can become very confusing and if you try and write your goals down and really live by that list of goals you need to achieve, then you are going to drive yourself absolutely crazy and you will just create unwanted stress in your life… Am I right?

Now it is important to set goals and write them down, you don’t just keep them in your head. It won’t work that way! You can put a list on the fridge, make one on the computer, put one in your car or heck… Hang one in the shower, but don’t over do it! You can just glance at the list and just visually remind yourself everyday what you need to achieve. Just stay focused and don’t freak out!

There are going to be obstacles through this journey, so you should definitely give this some thought and by doing this, you can develop strategies that will help you overcome the obstacles. This will prepare yourself for the obstacles down the road.

What you need to do when you set these goals is to manage your time. So many network marketers fail at this! It is very easy to do this and I am guilty of this very same thing. Too many get into the business but don’t know how to plan their day so they can incorporate their network marketing business into their daily routine.

Next, you need to define your short term and long term goals. Short term goals can be completed on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. For example one particular day, you should spend 30 minutes on social marketing and spend 1 hour calling prospects. On a weekly basis, you may want to post 5 blog posts or make 3 videos. On a monthly basis, you may want recruit 10 Reps. Your long term goals are the goals are the most important ones. Where do you want to be in one year… Where do you want to be in 5 or 10 years?

Really, over all, setting goals is a great way for you to stay organized, manage your time and help you stick to a plan. So grab a notepad and a pencil and start writing your goals down. Organize a daily schedule to achieve each day’s tasks and constantly remind yourself of your long term goals and what quality of life you dream of.

If you have done this, then you are on the path to success in business and in life. If you are struggling in setting up your goals and maintaining a positive outlook on your life and business then I would suggest you start here>>> SET YOUR GOALS
