Because I said so…

As I am on my way To Tampa, Florida today for a Numis National Convention, I am sitting in the plane completely excited about going to this event. This is Numis’ first national convention and it is mine as well. Being in the Network Marketing business for a short period of time, it seems as though I have come a long way. Learning from my mentors and now what seems like some good friends such as Adam Chandler, who is one of the top producers in MLM Lead System Pro and now Numis. Although I have never met Adam in person, I feel as though I know him that is someone I can trust and someone that is willing to help me succeed in this industry. I will be meeting Adam in Tampa as well as other people that I have come top know over the internet.

That being said, I want to talk about how important it is to go to these events. Network Marketing is about connections and who you are connected with. It’s about building relationships with like minded people. The same people you chat with online. The same people you see on YouTube,  Facebook and Twitter presenting themselves to the world. The same people that prove themselves as leaders through their knowledge and training. These are the people that you will meet at these events. These are the people that you need to connect with and establish relationships with. You will learn from these top producers and gain a ton of information that you can’t get sitting behind your computer.

As I establish myself in the business of Network Marketing and as I get more of myself out there… When I mean out there, I mean physically out there, I feel a sense of accomplishment and reward. I feel as if though I am doing my part here and establishing a presence online and offline (events). It’s funny… as I am typing this post, I am in the air on American Airlines and there is Wi-Fi service! I guess I have been kind of cooped up in Jackson Hole for a minute, but that is the beauty of the internet and air travel.

As I look around at the people on this flight and wonder what they do and how they are living… One never knows until they actually try to connect with them. I just might have  to connect with the person sitting next to me that has the Breitling on… Hehehe.

If you are in Network Marketing and your mentors or coaches are telling you to go to events… Listen to them and go! They are at the top for a reason.
